The
SopranoXL offers an
industry-leading 10Hz pulse repetition
rate for high-speed treatments, which
rapidly enhances your practice's
productivity and profitablity through
greater patient throughput. SopranoXL
provides two treatment modes HR and SHR
to meet all of your patients laser hair
removal needs.
Hair
Removal in Motion
The
Soprano XL system launches a new era in
hair removal - A Laser hair removal
solution that is vertually pain free
with results that meet or exceed the
performancy of past solutions. The SHR
mode is a revolutionary new approach for
improved effectiveness and comfortable
hair removal, dramatically changing the
way laser hair removal has been
performed for the past 15 years.
The
revolutionary SHR Mode provides the
ideal combination for efficient hair
removal:
- The
SHR Mode uses the optimal hair
removal wavelength of 810 nm diode
for deep penetration into the dermis
where the hair follicle is located.
- The
SHR Mode has consistent, high
average power capabilities to enable
the 10 pulse-per-second repetition
rate for "hair removal in
motion".
- The
SHR Mode enables a low fluence,
"in motion" approach for
virtually painless hair removal.
|
| The
Soprano XL also includes the traditional
higher fluence HR (Hair Removal) Mode.
Soprano XL can be used safely on all
skin types, including tanned skin, and
has been shown to provide permanent hair
reduction. |
|
| SHR
Mode |
|
| The
SHR mode utilizes this series of low
fluence, high repetition pulses to
increase the temperature of both the
hair follicle, and the surrounding,
nourishing tissue to 45˚ C. |
|
| This
more gradual, in-motion heat delivery
uses the chromophores in the surrounding
tissue as reservoirs to effectively heat
up the hair follicle. This, along with
the heat energy absorbed directly by the
hair follicle, damages the follicle and
prevents re-growth. |
|
| The
SHR mode protects the epidermis and
provides a virtually painless treatment. |
|
|
|
|
| HR
Mode |
|
| The
HR Mode utilizes a single pulse, high
fluence approach to deliver heat energy
selectively to the hair follicle,
without affecting the surrounding dermal
tissue. The energy absorbed by the
melanin in the hair causes heat injury
to the hair, preventing its further
growth. |
|
| Simultaneously,
intense contact cooling is applied to
the epidermis to prevent superficial
heat injury and to improve patient
comfort. |

| What
is CW Pulse Technology? |
|
- Using
cutting-edge CW diode technology,
each pulse emitted by Sonata
actually incorporates two discrete,
yet overlapping pulses. The first is
a low-energy long-pulse that safely
heats the hair, but not to the point
of thermal destruction.
- The
second, overlapping pulse is also a
low-energy pulse, but in combination
with the first provides the right
amount of power to destroy just the
hair and the surrounding cells
responsible for regrowth.
- Because
the other parts of the skin that
absorb 810-nm light have a lower
heat capacity (and therefore cool
much more quickly), neither pulse,
or the combination, heats these
components to the point of damage.
- The
result is less pain, less damage to
the surrounding skin and effective
elimination of unwanted hair.

| SopranoXL
CW Pulse technology allows
homogeneous distribution and more
effective fluence to be delivered with
improved efficacy and patient comfort.
Soprano's unique pulse structure
incorporates two discrete pulses. The
first is a preheated long-pulse that
safely heats the tissue, the second
short pulse effectively destroys the
hair follicle and its surrounding
vasculature. |
|
| What
is DualCool mechanism? |
|
|
The
SopranoXL offers dual
cooling meachanisms for superior
epidermal preservation:
sapphire-tip contact cooling and
integrated Cryo 5 Zimmer(cool
air) adaptor. The combined
cooling technologies increase
patient comfort and allow higher
fluence for any given skin type. |
